Title: Electrician 

Summary: This position is responsible for general wiring of electrical components used on integrated systems and tooling. Participates in the coordination, installation, modification, and repairs of electrical components, systems, facilities and related electronic controls.  This is a safety critical position and includes responsibility for electrical activities to ensure integrated systems and tooling are built in a safe and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities:

• Installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, 120V,480V,24VDC, Communication, grounding
• Ability to assist with auto debug of automated systems and tooling
• Ensure assigned tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost and function
• Work in accordance with work requirements utilizing drawings and manuals
• Report equipment and required documentation changes in line with company procedures
• Champion company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and practices good housekeeping
• Some travel will be required for setup and installation of our systems.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout and wire equipment according to prints
• Experience with programming or troubleshooting PLC preferred
• Team player, able to take direction and be self-motivated
• Owns own hand tools to perform electrical tasks
• Knowledge of low voltage control and high voltage power
• High regard for safety standards
• Knowledge of welding and automated system and tooling assembly
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with others
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• General Understanding of mathematics 
• Journeyman’s or successful completion of electrical apprenticeship preferred
