General Laborer – Machine Shop
Pay: $15-16 (based on experience)
Shifts:
1st- 6 AM 5:30 PM (M-Sat)
Role and Responsibilities
- Tear down and set-up CNC Machines.
- Replace or repair tooling in CNC Machines.
- Train Production Operators on CNC Machines.
- Develop machine part programs.
- Develop work instruction.
- Maintain machine folders (tool replacement logs, daily maintenance calendars
- Work with subcontractors on coolants, oils and tooling (continual improvement).
- Review and improve CNC Machine cycle times.
- Maintain CNC tooling levels needed for production.
- Perform other projects as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Ability to program cnc machining equipment.
- Solid knowledge of cutting tools (geometry, material grade, coating, etc.)
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
